Cynthia McCollum - Owner


Thirty years of experience in the decorative painting industry. Hands-on finisher with emphasis on paint-based glazes. Experience also in wood finishing, metal leaf application and Venetian plaster.



Lee Grimsbo - Product / Technical Support 


While involved in studio production work in the early 90's, Lee Grimsbo began working part time at N.Y. Central Art Supply. Soon he had the privilege of working closely with companies like Golden Artist Colors, T.J. Ronant Paint Corp. and Sepp Leaf Products. For the next 20 years he was active in helping N.Y. Central customers with tech support and product research, especially in the areas of gilding, and specialty finishes. With the closing of N.Y. Centrals 100+ years, Lee moved to McCollum Interiors where he happily finds himself working with many of the same contractors and artists he has worked with in previous years.


Abraham First-Quao - Sales & Customer Support


Abraham’s computer programming background helps him manage the technical aspects of purchasing, sales and fulfillment. His experience as a private tutor has equipped him to work with people and groups of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their goals. He and the rest of the McCollum Interiors Customer Service Department work hard to ensure every customer's experience is pleasant and easy.


Miles Blue Spruce - Shipping Manager / Primary Colorist 


Miles has been on the McCollum staff for over two years. Exemplary sales work and product familiarity has seen him promoted on multiple occasions over his relatively brief tenure. He serves as the chief colorist for the store, and has been tinting custom colors to customers' satisfaction for most of his career. Miles also manages the shipping department, ensuring that every order is packed safely, securely, quickly, and accurately.


Nick Jenkins - Sales & Customer Support 


Relatively new to the team, Nick has been working at McCollum since late summer 2016. Having started in the shipping and fulfillment department, Nick has since been promoted to assisting in sales, customer service, pricing, and tech support. With more than 5 years of experience in customer service and management as a Talent Buyer in the NYC live music scene, this was a natural fit. Nick continues to leverage his interpersonal and business skills to the benefit of the business as a whole, proving time and again to be an asset.
